And that’s exactly what Motoko, the main character and cyborg, asks constantly to himself when his body and his mind are not connected “I think therefore I am”, so: who am I? The film was really interesting to me not only because it was all set in the future, and they use a lot of technological stuff, but also because I was curious of what philosophical intention could it possible has then I noticed it. I haven’t seen a lot of anime, and honestly, it isn’t something I would watch by choice but I truly enjoyed this movie, I found it really ingenious and creative.

In very general terms, the film is about a hacker who takes over control of human minds. Ghost in the shell is a Japanese movie filmed in 1995, but situated in 2029.
